Gibarco Veeder Root - Lead - Vontier Business System (10-15 yrs)

Purpose of Position: The VBS Leader, is responsible for delivering business results via promoting and facilitating the successful implementation of Vontier Business System (VBS) at GVR India, while developing a culture of continuous improvement in Growth, Lean, Leadership, and Innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

- Drive targeted PD and KPI results by leveraging VBS tools, mentoring skills, and change management process.

- Assist company leadership in the development of VBS roadmap in growth, lean, leadership and innovation processes (sales, marketing, service, operations, and ideation)

- Directly provide formal and informal VBS training and coaching

- Facilitate other VBS training sessions / Kaizen events when needed

- Regularly participate and contribute in PD and Daily Management reviews

- Ensure productive Kaizen events (well planned, executed and sustained)

- Improve VBS training and facilitation skills by pursuing certification in VBS tools

- Promote and facilitate - VBS Champions- associate development in various VBS tools

- Benchmark and incorporate VBS best practices in GVR India and develop plans to sustain gains

- Assist India Management Board with deploying priority improvements (e.g. Organic Growth as well as Integration after M&A)

Priorities:

- Implement, improve, and sustain foundational commercial (sales and marketing) effectiveness processes including lead generation management, funnel management, VOC, sales effectiveness, and daily management

- Work with functional teams (Sales and marketing, Service, Finance, HR, R&D, IT) to install and drive good daily management and problem-solving processes within region and share key learnings across GVR India organization as well as other VONTIER operating companies. Create learning opportunities and engagement for operating companies to share and engage with each other in region.

- VBS Leader, Kaizen facilitators and Team Leaders from other VONTIER Companies

- Sales and Marketing leaders from various Vontier companies

- Vontier company customers and agencies providing work / assistance

- Acquisition targets (may conduct due diligence assessments as well as post-merger integration)

Education & Experience: The ideal candidate will have

- Total Experience in years: Mandatory 10 - 15 years in Business Leadership Roles

- Graduation/ Degree: Any Graduate

- Post-Graduation/ PGDM: MBA from Reputed Institute

Background and Skills: The ideal candidate will have

Domain (Preferred Industry) - M&A Companies, Oil & Gas - Downstream Industry, Matrix Organization

Skills required (in detail):

- Teamwork - must be able to lead teams of GVR Associates from multiple disciplines

- Ability to influence others - must be able to inform, convince and persuade others to action using VBS to drive sustainable results

- Results orientation - must deliver sustainable results

- Specific technical competencies - must possess the technical skills necessary to be seen as credible in GVR/VTR by peers and managers. Require foundation in marketing and sales competencies (see below for details).

- Communication - must be able to effectively communicate in both written and verbal forms

- Learning agility - quick learner and demonstrate adaptability

- Ability to accurately assess key business metrics and situations from a senior leader point of view

- Ability to design, develop implement a VBS roadmap for an operating business

- Superior training, consulting, and influencing skills

- Hand-on experience implementing VBS or process improvement /orientation in a leadership role

- Demonstrated proficiency in time and project management

- Self - sufficient and enthusiastic

- Team orientation (knows when to lead and when to follow)

- Lives the - continuous improvement- philosophy and can drive change successfully

- Willing and able to travel (travel % depends on GVR locations assigned but will be up to 25%)

- Ability to influence others - credible

- Strong facilitation skills

- Non - political

- Candidate familiar with Indian culture through living in India & familiar with most common India dialect (s)

- Ability to work in and be respectful of different cultures.
