Roles & Responsibilities :

As a Category Manager, he/she would have ownership of Category P&L. Responsible for the overall strategy of the category, driving business growth, and achieving customer and revenue targets for the category.

- Lead the category, manage its development, identify and eliminate obstacles that prevent the team from achieving their goals, and ensure effective communication within/across project teams.

- Understand the category in-depth to oversee value creation and research the product/services category basis the need of the customers and market analysis.

- Manage the P&L of the assigned category.

- Create a roadmap for category development and delivery.

- Define metrics and analyze data to measure engagement level.

- Track and use the user feedback and data to improve product quality.

- Understanding and implementing project management practices. Managing and delivery of projects from conceptualization, visualization to technology mapping and final execution of projects.

Requirements :

- Tier 1 school in grad/post-grad is important (IIT/NIT/BITS/IIM/FMS/XLRI/ISB etc)

- 3-5+ Years of working experience, ideally with leadership experience

- EdTech background is an added advantage

- Bachelor's degree & MBA from a premium school (preferable).

- Past entrepreneurial/intrapreneurial experience is an added advantage

- Tier 1 school in grad/post-grad is important

- Evolving market segmentation & penetration strategies to achieve targets.

- Managing, Monitoring and Mentoring team

- Creating an environment that sustains and encourages high performance; motivates teams to optimize their contribution levels.
