About the Role and Responsibilities : - Be responsible for overseeing the annual/quarterly/monthly statutory financial statements process, including management of the external audit and tax compliance for Group entities - Work very closely with the Business Team, Credit Team, Key account Managers,Technology and product team as Finance Business Partner - Play a lead role with the Controller in developing and implementing a team strategy with a focus on governance and resilience - Perform regular in-depth analysis on the financials, ensuring the integrity and financial accuracy of our books and records - Manage the delivery of processes performed by external vendors ensuring that all service levels are met, the internal control environment is robust and a quality service is provided - Develop in-depth knowledge of tools and applications in support of the accounting function and highlight opportunities for improvement, managing projects that will yield efficiency through automation, optimization and outsourcing - Drive the strategy for the company's payment related product offerings to help us design simple tax efficient and compliant offerings - Fundraising Support - Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to complete all applicable documentation for fund raising activities including coordination for execution of the documents by all parties - Assist investors in performing diligence on the Company, including preparation of Data Room - Work with Technology and Product teams and provide inputs to build the accounting platform/backend for both merchants and internal finance control systems - Setup system and processes for financial evaluation of business performance - Work with business team on building the finance supply chain in cost effective manner What Are We Looking For? An ideal candidate for this role is someone who has- - CA with 7+ yrs of experience in Accounts and Finance preferably from E-Commerce/FMCG/Financial services background - Relevant experience in positions that require analysis, reporting financial results, forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, and data interpretation of business impact and results - Highly skilled in Excel &amp; PowerPoint with formal financial modeling and presentation building experience. Working knowledge in Microsoft BI or data presentation softwares is a plus - Strong work ethic and rigorous attention to detail - Working knowledge of financial reporting framework in India and USA and compliance requirements for Indian Companies - Ability to navigate through multiple stakeholders and build strong working relationships across all levels of the organization
