About the role: As the CFO, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, managing and running of all the financial activities of the company, including business planning, budgeting, forecasting and negotiations. This exciting role is an integral member of the Executive Team with responsibility to shape the strategic and long-term financial direction of the business. What you will do day to day? - Be the driving force behind all financially driven activities and manage the team to ensure timely processes and reporting. - Develop organizational strategies by contributing financial and accounting information, analysis, and recommendations to strategic thinking and direction; establishing functional objectives in line with organizational objectives. - Establish finance operational strategies by evaluating trends; establishing critical measurements; determining production, productivity, quality, and customer-service strategies; designing systems; accumulating resources; resolving problems; implementing change. - Risk Management - Cross functional risk assessment and mitigation strategy and action plan. Coordinate with departments heads to effective risk management. Advise and maintain sufficient insurance for Risk mitigation. - Review & Finalisation of Business Contracts - Get legal contracts drafted from outsourced law firm, Review and finalisation of customer & vendor agreement. Advise management on best business practices to reduce business risk and achieve organisational objectives. - Achieve zero tolerance on all company compliances including Income Tax, GST, FEMA, PF,ESI on an on going basis. - Manage Audit from Big4 firm efficiently and ensure Audit completion on timely manner. - Function as a host of Board meetings and help promoter to navigate through various discussion at Board level. - Providing strategic recommendations to the Management on investments and business growth decisions. - Maximize return on invested funds by identifying investment opportunities; maintaining relationships with the investment community. - Manage the processes for financial forecasting and budgets, and overseeing the preparation of all financial reporting. - Advising on long-term business and financial planning. - Managing outside relationships and represent the company to banks, financial partners and auditors, exploring fund raising options for the business. What are we looking for? - Total experience 10+ years with minimum 4 years of experience in a senior finance role. Preferably with a Startup. - Education Background - CA (Preferably a rank holder) first attempt / MBA Finance - Experience of managing finance and accounts for a startup would be added advantage. - Energetic, highly motivated, with a passion for excellence and innovation in pursuit of business growth and success - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with ability to develop relationships at all levels
