GenY Medium, an angel funded, rapidly growing digital media marketing firm is looking to add an experienced Technology Manager to the team.  GenY Medium has over a short period of time, established itself as a leading provider of digital marketing services, specializing in social media marketing and customer acquisition campaigns. The company now has over 35 employees, most from reputed schools in India and rich professional experiences. GenY Medium has several national brands as its clients, including Max Bupa & Cigna (Healthcare), Goli Vada Pav and Creyate - Arvind, Sobha Developers (Real Estate) and NIIT, Akash (education) amongst others.   We are looking for a passionate and self-driven candidate to lead our technology team. Technology is a key capability pillar for us. We have developed an online reputation management tool which uses artificial intelligence and computational linguistics to classify online conversations by sentiments.  - In addition, we are looking to build capabilities in programmatic advertising which will have significant potential within next 2-3 years as more and more businesses increase their digital spends.  - This person will lead our endeavors in the tech space from the front and manage a team of web developers and designers to deliver best in class products and tools and create value for our customers.  - This is a senior level role and reports directly to the CEO and board. The role will become stronger with more number of people reporting to them as the company progresses ahead.  - Candidate should be a graduate from one of the IITs, IIITs, BITs or NITs with minimum 2 years of experience. Start-up experience will be a plus! If the candidate was part of the initial team of a start-up that will be a double-plus!  Your grades in college, course projects worked on, are not a criteria.  You need to be a web engineer in true spirit and form. You need to love solving problems in web technologies. You will be given business problems and need to work out the design and implementation on your own with the freedom to choose the tools, the methodology and the architecture. You will have the freedom to choose your approach and methodology, but the code needs to work and work the first time around - zero defects!  If you are a person who can program non-stop, write code that once you have finished you know will work in the first shot, likes elegant code in look, feel and working, then you are the person we are looking for.  Compensation for this role will be among the best in class with 12-15 lacs of CTC per annum.
