Job Overview: In this position, the candidate will own the overall Inventory target for the business by driving meaningful inventory analysis using various analytics systems. His primary objective will be to generate valuable action-oriented insights and drive them to execution working closely across the organization. Responsibilities and Duties: - Define the inventory planning strategies at a - Customer- Sourcing Unit- SKU- combination basis forecast and service criteria (Make to Forecast vs. Make to Order). - Define stock holding principles for the Make to Forecast SKUs clearly categorizing the stock holding into relevant buckets (safety stock, cycle stock, buffer, etc.) - Monitor DOH (Days On Hand) against target and identify improvement opportunities. - SLOB management: Highlight slow-moving and non-moving stocks to the business to take appropriate actions for disposal. - Lead discussions and motivate management to address inventory issues and provide corrective actions. - Utilize system reports to track inventory performance. Understand data presented in reports and be able to utilise data sources such for further inventory analysis. Job Qualifications: - Experience in demand planning &amp; inventory planning in a large CPG environment. . - BE / BTech (Any Discipline) + MBA Operations or Supply Chain Management (Desired but not mandatory) - Knowledge on SAP APO DP module, SAP BI/BW, Power BI - Ability to effectively communicate complex concepts in straight-forward ways to multiple levels of the organization. - Strong interpersonal skills, strong sense of teamwork, strategic influence, and ability to make complex tradeoffs. - APICS Certifications - CSCP/ CPIM (Desired but not mandatory)
