Genpact - Manager & Senior Manager - General Accounting (7-20 yrs)

Hyderabad Job Code: 930094

- Drive and timely closure of open/ un-cleared line items in bank/GL reconciliation

- Reach out/ escalate to relevant teams on open line items and seek for information to clear

- Approve Payments, Fund Transfers on Banking Portals

- Good Analytical skills

- Analyzing the reconciliations, monthly movements and variances

- Ensure Activity trackers and reporting on status update by team is timely and accurate

- Review on ongoing/regular operations and close for various business units

- Review Operational risk compliance (SOX Controls) - Process Controls, risk assessments, report out and management

- Maintaining approved annual capital budget and the assignment of capital Project numbers

- Design accounting master data structure

- Participate in ERP/bolt on tools migrations, UAT and signoff

- Responsible to coach and mentor team on timely basis to ensure the BS recs are of good quality

- Support and back fill his team members in time of need with short learning curve

- Prepare Data for KPI and SLA reporting

- Coordinating with internal teams and external Clients, Auditors and Advisors

- Should have good SAP knowledge

RPA Implementation - Work with the account Digital automation lead and provide support to deliver the following, but not limited to :

- Feasibility study of suggested process for process automation

- Implement and manage process flows and identify the break points, pain areas, continuous improvements and identify the end to end KPIs to have a tower level lead metrics

- Identify & implement standardization within processes across region

- Gather detailed activity list on qualified process

- Should be able to coach, guide, influence & motivate the team to achieve target

- Ability to foresee risks, be proactive and predictive while developing mitigation plans

- Prepare Process automation plan guide

- Project Governance - Work with the Transition team and provide support to deliver the following, but not limited to :

- Track progress and update stakeholders on project charters

- Communicate, coordinate & initiate actions ensuring seamless & smooth function of the transition processes

Required Skills :

- People Management - with span of 25 & above

- Strong accounting conceptual knowledge on reporting. IFRS knowledge is preferable but not essential.

- Proficiency with MS Excel, Power-point are essential.

- Working knowledge in ERP packages like SAP, reporting tool like Analysis for office, COGNOS

- Strong analytical skills, proficiency in multi-tasking and should be able to resolve issues in operation

- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to summarize and present complex financial data in an organized, concise manner, ability to present Performance management metrics and RCAs in monthly Governance Boards.

- Client Relations - Build the customer relationship, drive confidence, and improve customer satisfaction

- Self-motivated and very organized in his/her day-to-day operations, must be able to work independently and able to convene and lead all the process update calls with customers wherever required.

- Knowledge and sound management of underlying process, and can interact with coworkers, management, auditors and regulators.

- High ability to learn and apply learnings in practice.

- Show strong sense of urgency in solving problems, getting work done.

- Produce high quality deliverables, within challenging deadlines

- Develop thorough understanding of customer expectations and strive to exceed them.

- Able to handle management adhoc request with short turnaround
