Responsibilities Include:

- Review credit files and provide an opinion on quality of underwriting and accuracy of credit rating (PD), Loss Given Default (LGD) and loan modifiers

- Evaluate credit monitoring practices for adherence to credit policy and procedures.

- Analyze portfolio composition to identify trends and provide opinion on portfolio quality

- Evaluating completeness and overall quality of credit files .

Qualifications

- Masters in Business Administration with specialization in Finance or CFA or similar academics.

- Work experience of around 3-10 years post qualification

Skills Required :

- Candidate should have working experience on credit analysis of Corporates and FIs.

- Experience in performing in-depth credit analysis of either corporates or FIs which involves assessing financial and business risk profile of these entities along with balance sheet and P&L ratio analysis, trend analysis, projections etc.

- Basic credit analysis of wholesale customers including corporates and financial institutions, including ability to rate borrowers and counterparties

- Basic knowledge of credit products - loans, derivatives and other traded products etc,, including ability to evaluate risks and mitigants of facility structures.

- Knowledge of banking regulations, pertaining to lending and credit extension

- Basic auditing skills

- Ability to produce written reports and present audit findings to credit risk managers

- Ability to work as part of a team, and under tight project completion timelines

Skills Desired:

- Familiarity with basic tenets of general credit policies and procedures

- General understanding of key terms and conditions in credit agreements
