Inviting applications for the role of AVP, Healthcare and Life Science Analytics

We are looking for an Analytics Forecasting Manager to manage the processes and people responsible for accurate data collection, processing, forecasting modeling and analytics for a large Healthcare and Life Science account. This leader will work closely across analytics operations, account sales, and internal competency teams to support and implement high-quality, data-driven solutions for our client.

- Lead cross-functional forecasting projects using advanced data modeling and analysis techniques to discover insights that will guide strategic decisions and uncover optimization opportunities.

- Oversee the design and delivery of reports and insights that analyze business functions and key operations and performance metrics.

- Manage and optimize processes for data intake, validation, mining and engineering as well as modeling, visualization and communication deliverables.

- Anticipate future demands of initiatives related to people, technology, budget and business within the client business and design/implement solutions to meet these needs.

- Communicate results and business impacts of insight initiatives to stakeholders within and outside of the company.

Responsibilities :

Pharma Domain and Functional Expertise: (50%)

- Lead offshore forecasting analytics operations for our Healthcare Lifesciences engagements across various commercial services groups across Forecasting services, Commercial operations, Analytics, Data Visualization, performance reporting etc

- Develop, retain, motivate and recruit top talent with the right capabilities and winning culture

- Develop both, the technical competencies, and transferable skills of team

- Innovate in one or multiple client business verticals by transforming the way to solve a problem using analytics, Forecasting techniques and principles, digital capabilities: design, develop and deliver various - proof of concepts & blueprints- to drive success across commercial organization

People Management and Development: (20%)

- Integrate a consistent people strategy to include on-boarding, training, career development, recognition and rewards as well as succession planning.

- Ensure proper capacity management through appropriate staffing levels, skill development, prioritization and team effectiveness.

- Drive operational rigor and best practices as agreed with the client

Client Engagement and Account mining: (30%)

- Engage with senior stakeholders in client organization to drive analytics transformation in existing processes and mine new opportunities for analytics growth within the account

- Provide integration, communication and alignment with key capability owners with Genpact to ensure coordinated, effective and efficient strategic and operational solutions for the client

- Act as a strategic architect, helping to construct and expand the analytics portfolio including forecasting within the client organization

- Collaborate with multi-functional, highly matrixed organization to determine deep business questions and identify best solution to fit the need of our partners.

Qualifications:

Minimum qualifications:

- Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, Economics, Information Systems, Statistics, Applied Math, Business Administration, or any other related field. An equivalent of this requirement in working experience is also acceptable for the position.

- 12-15+ years of overall work experience in analytics/ Business Intelligence in Healthcare or Life Science as an individual contributor /SME role in at least one of the following fields: Pharma Stretegic Forecasting, Commercial Assessment, Opportunity Assessments, Commercial Effectiveness

- Prior experience in and understanding of US and global healthcare and pharma market

Preferred qualifications

- Proven and successful experience in the execution of data analytics initiatives, leading to the development of useful insights and the improvement of a business's performance and driving top-line growth

- Working knowledge of data mining principles: predictive analytics, mapping, collecting data from multiple data systems on premises and cloud-based data sources
