- Inviting applications for the role of AVP, Release Management

- Responsible to design, sign-off & deploy software releases cadence for multiple enterprise products and staying on top of the Scrum/Release Operational metrics

Responsibilities : 

- Develop common framework for release governance across multiple enterprise products

- Deploy consistent release management processes.

- Track an enterprise-wide release schedule and communication with internal & external stakeholders

- Effective communication to senior management of enterprise-wide exposure to release risk and effectively mitigate it.

- Measure release cadence and effectiveness using common metrics across the entire product portfolio.

- Create common standards and formats for release playbooks and work with production control to standardize release decision-making.

- Define common mechanisms for rollback and standards for capturing release-related performance indicators.

Experience:

- Expertise in Release Management, product development & software engineering

- Strong release management skills with accountability for end-to-end delivery.

- Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD).

- Experience of entire SDLC using Agile/Scrum and Experience with Continuous Integration, continuous development, build Automation, DevOps and QA automation.

- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams (Engineering, QA, release management, customers, product management, professional services teams)

- Proactively identify hurdles in the release process, drive the release process/SDLC changes and enforce the process with various stake holders

- The Enterprise Release Manager should be able to identify and eliminate redundancies at the portfolio level

- Cultural sensitivity to work with US teams and customers

- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Management Information Systems and/or equivalent work experience
