General Manager - Supply chain - Manufacturing (14-20 yrs)

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITY :
- Implement robust product ordering process and clarify all order requirements in loco and in advance to the respective involved team (film type ordered, quantity, film type characteristics, resin to be used, label requirements, Incoterm - International Commercial Terms, unit price agreed, transportation mode - ocean and/or air, loading requirements/FCL - Full Container Load or LCL - Less than One Container Load, expected production start, shipment, and delivery dates, export documentation / Bill of Lading, Packing List, Airway Bill).
- Follow-up each production process, assuring that the expected quality and order requirements are being strictly followed and deadline accomplished.
- Track each loading and shipment, monitoring and communicating step by step the delivery together with JFA Production Planning, Distribution Centers and Transportation Management Teams, as well as, freight forwarders.
- Manage projects and support the introduction of new products, as well as, the phased out of the items.
- Foster cost reduction initiatives concerning freight, customer order consolidation, best arrival and departure airport and ports in USA and India, inventory turns improvements (finished goods, semi-finished goods, raw material, WIP - Work in Progress, packaging, reclaimed material, scrap material, new products launch and phased out items), packaging improvements, etc.
- Create an excellent work environment in both companies, aiming at pursuing excellence, best- in-class processes, open communication and increasing sales.
- Lead and track customer complaints.
