General Manager/Vice President - Regulatory Affairs - Telecom (13-20 yrs)

Actively participate on issues and strategies important to the organization by building knowledge and relationships with key decision makers responsible for shaping regulations. Being aware of regulatory changes in a dynamic environment, its potential impact on the company and proactively working towards a favourable outcome. Drive business teams to balance commercial needs and compliance requirements by approaching problems with an entrepreneurial mindset to take risks and find solutions through collaborative team-work. Help de-risk the business by protecting the company from financial penalties and any adverse impact on the brand.

1. Manage all India Regulatory Operations Affairs of Consumer Business Group on strategic aspects and spearhead implementation of TRAI's Spam control

2. Heading the Regulatory Affairs of Business including operations, policy, compliances, advisory, interconnection agreements with content owners drafting & vetting contracts for Network as Services.

3. Ensuring business interests with Licensor/ Regulator in the policy matters of QoS regulations, retail tariff, consumer protection & grievance regulations

4. Validating and providing advisory on tariff, QoS and Interconnection Compliances in meetings/workshops/seminars/open houses & coordinating discussions with large groups of stakeholders to drive consensus

5. Devising process, policies and Sop's compliant with TRAI framework in consensus with internal & external stakeholders

6. Collaborating with Regulator, internal stakeholders and other Telco's for conceptualizing & designing the regulatory approach towards implementation of new regulation

7. Design a comprehensive compliance framework for tracking compliance to license conditions & regulations for management reporting

8. Compliance to be submitted within the stipulated time of the queries from DOT, TRAI, WPC, TERM Cell and C-DOT

9. Timely compliance to the IP Request and other requirement from MHA, different state Cyber Crime Cells and other agencies

10. Intimate the respective department, take all the necessary steps to comply them and ensure the compliance of the DOT & TRAI Notifications, Regulations, Consultation, Recommendations and Orders

11. Keeping track of all LEAs instructions and preparation of response; Checking all the blocking instruction, sending compliance to DOT and keep record

12. Tracking of General Events/meetings of DOT, TRAI and other bodies
