Role - HR & IR

Objectivity :

(GM/VP Level) has overall responsibility for the HR function that includes Staffing, Industrial Relations (Employee Relations, Public/Government Relations, Labor Law, Disciplinary Proceedings),Performance Management ( Job Descriptions, Planning, Assessment, Appraisals, compensations, Promotions and Succession Planning),Compensation and Benefits .

1. Employee Relations (including grievances), Public and Government Relations, Labour Law Compliance's, Industrial Disputes (including disciplinary proceedings).

2. Arranging and scheduling meetings between workers, supervisory and managerial staff to investigate and resolve grievances.

3. Maintaining cordial relationship with public and government agencies of the area in which a project operates for uninterrupted functioning of business.

5. Maintaining compliance with all Labour law and employer-employee related statutory compliance as applicable to the business in which the company engaged.

6. Handle various types of employee relation matters and solutions in collaboration with Senior Management focused on: providing counsel on performance management issues (coaching, counselling, disciplinary actions, terminations, performance feedback and career development)

7. Act as primary point of contact for managers and employees to provide guidance on HR policies, programs and initiatives

8. Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, increase productivity and retention

9. Developing and overseeing control systems to prevent or deal with violations of legal guidelines and internal policies

10. valuating the efficiency of HR controls and improving them continuously

- MBA HR / PG Diploma with hands on experience of 15 to 20 years in manufacturing. Exposure of handling multiple unions & recognized Unions.

- Excellent knowledge and hands-on in employment/labour related laws and compliance.

- An excellent team player with knowledge of manufacturing industry

- Have worked on various HR functions and strategy

- Excellent leader with high people influencing capabilities.

- Independent and organized work style.

- Should have experience in Unionized work environment and have demonstrated experience in dealing with Unions, work/wage settlements both at internal and at the statutory conciliation levels
