Our client is a leading MNC in the Oil and Gas space with a Global presence and an ever-increasing India footprint. They have aggressive growth plans for India which will be driven by new initiatives and sites which shall strive the path for them to become market leaders

Job Description

Reporting to the Director, Production and managing a team of 15 people you will be responsible for -

- Contributing to overall planning and execution of the business strategy, with a prime focus on leading an operations team engaged in production and development of discoveries in India

- Managing the day-to-day drilling and production related activities. This will include completion and testing operations and carrying out the associated construction and production activities.

- Working closely with in-country staff on execution related activities and be required to undertake travel regularly to ensure successful planning and execution of objectives and operational activities of the company

- Defining project scope and deliverables on a day to day basis and managing delivery and project economics along with project risk.

- Building relations with other departments and stakeholders to achieve business goals; e.g. Exploration and Corporate groups.

The Successful Applicant

- Ideally you have a degree in Petroleum Engineering or a related technical discipline with at least 20 years of diversified petroleum engineering and operations experience . You have a cost conscious mindset to bring cost control into all operations and a strong project management experience to provide oversight to field operations
