General Manager - Supply Chain Management - Food Service Firm - NITIE (6-20 yrs)
Job Role Description
The position has overall responsibility for Supply Chain Management including Procurement of all direct Raw & Packaging Materials and operating items across all categories for the Brand's business with an utmost focus on cost and ensuring the long term supplier relationships.
The person proactively develops and integrates short term/long-term Supply Chain strategies providing systems and technological expertise. Collaborating with other cross functional teams focused on cost control, process improvements or other specific supply chain initiatives to achieve competitive advantage and improve responsiveness to customer demand. Develops and owns the relationship with commodity suppliers including development and execution of business plans to meet corporate objectives.
Qualifications, Experience, & Skills
- 10-15 years of experience in sourcing, category management, supplier development, contracting & negotiations in food service / FMCG industry (food and packaging categories)
Qualification - B.E. and/or MBA from NITIE Only (Mandatory)
