Brief Candidate Profile
1. 45-to-48 years in age
2. 15-to-20 years in SCM experience; of which last 5 years in a leadership role;
3. B Com / M Com; MBA in SCM;
4. Must have managed operations involving Rs 150-to-200 Crores of spend on logistics
Preferred - source- of candidate
(A) Engineering industry; FMCG; FMCD; Logistics Providers;
Automobiles, Power, Energy, Pharma and Infra industries NOT PREFERRED

b. driving this transition as a Business Transformation exercise by rolling out the latest version of SAP S/4 HANA including Fiori Apps and Mobility

a. >375 industrial and automotive SKUs;
b. > 310 supply destinations in India including 22 OEMs;
c. over 60-to-3500 kms of distance
(II) GROUP DISTRIBUTION (from warehouse to end-user or dealer)
a. services > 1600 customers all over India
b. through 30 distribution centres and 10 OEM 3PL;
c. average 35K invoices per month
(III) EXIM
a. sea-based logistics
b. global footprint across >20 countries; for import of raw materials and export of finished goods
c. > 7500 containers for inbound / outbound shipments per year;
Purpose of the Role
(A) Out-bound; In-bound Logistics; Warehousing; Distribution; and, (less critical) Export & Import;
(B) Critical Success Factors in this role. Cost-effective logistics; statutory compliances;
Strategic Roles
a. align team and function to Group's 2025 plans
b. annual budgeting
c. study trends in international logistics; plan and transition contemporary methods
d. make business cases for driving cost control measures
Operational Roles
a. work with sales, marketing, finance, PPC, plants for effective delivery of logistics services
b. identify improvement projects and drive them on a project mode (timelines, resources, costs, outcomes etc)
c. selection, assessment, negotiation, appointment of logistics service providers; CFAs & FFs; CHAs; liners; periodic review of performance of these service providers
d. decisions around warehouse location
e. compliance with statutory EXIM regulations
f. ensure inventory accuracy across all warehouses
g. ensure no NCs from auditors; ensure speedy closure of any NCs
h. ensure a safe, timely, well-accounted and seamless collection of scrap batteries
i. ensure timely payment to service providers and partners
