- Define strategy and growth path for Financing business comprising of Real Estate Funding, Distressed Funding, Structured Investment group as well as in Retail Mortgage businesses like Housing, LAP, Construction finance, etc. in line with Vision 2020 of the Group

- Design, develop and drive strategic initiatives as per business plans

- Designing and implementation of strategies and identifying enablers for growth plan eg: People, Operations, Technology, etc from a strategic perspective.

- Identify new opportunities arising from regulatory changes, macro-economic environment

- Evaluate inorganic investment opportunities and new business ideas and present / propose to the Board / Management for approval.

- Provide strategic counsel to the MD, Chairman's Office and Business Unit CEOs and drive / implement the change management initiatives across various businesses as per scale up / growth plans.

- Identify and allocate internal and external resources like manpower, systems and technologies required for business scale up / growth plans

- Monitor business performance vis-a-vis budgets

- Liaise with external consultants, internal stakeholders for implementation of strategic initiatives / new business initiatives.

- Monitor & track performance, milestones and troubleshooting, conflict resolutions, if any.

- Mentor the team/ resources that report into this role .

- Proactively contribute to ongoing initiatives as part of the Chairman's Office.

- Evaluate inorganic investment opportunities and new growth opportunities and present / propose to the Board / Management for approval eg: Payment Bank; Strategic tie-ups, Fin-Tech.

- Provide external perspective through understanding of market landscape, regulatory changes and industry best practices

Key Requirement :

- MBA from a premier management institute or CA 1st attempt

- Candidate with additional professional qualifications (e.g., CFA) would have an added advantage.

- 8-10 years of experience in a top tier management Consulting Firms preferably having exposure of financial services institutions like Banks and NBFCs

- Good understanding of Wholesale and retail financial services products such as Housing Loan, LAP, etc

- Sound experience in formulating strategy, seeding new businesses and driving implementation and project management
