Job Description - This is a solution selling role wherein the candidate will utilise his Presales and sales experience in the telecom and networking domains to influence key C- Level executives. Supporting the sales team, this is not a business development profile. The candidate will try to work out solutions by identifying business challenges and converting those challenges to solutions utilizing the products of the firm.

Its product portfolio and projects to day bear little resemblance to what it originally used to do. However, it has retained its ground as one of the top Telecom/Networking, DC equipment, and consumer equipment manufacturer in the world.

Description - 

- Responsible for technical engagements with Customers at CXO level and lead the Pre-Sales team for providing the Sales team with the necessary support in closing deals.


- Responsible for providing technical solutions/response/BoQ against Customer RFP/Tenders.

- Develop Solution centric selling strategies in collaboration with Sales.


- Maintain and update Competitive technical benchmarking and analysis.


- Responsible for reviewing product data to ensure that the sales team is kept up to date on new developments regarding the companies or competitors' products.


- Act as point of reference for all product related enquiries and work collaboratively with colleagues in Technical Research and Regulatory bodies (TEC/TRAI/DOT).


- Plan and communicate to stakeholders about product launch plan for each new product.


- Develop a customer technical engagement calendar working closely with sales team for introducing new products and collecting relevant feedback.


Profile

- Around 18-20 years of overall experience, with about 15 years of solution sales experience in large MNCs

- Established relationships and contacts with Technical teams of other complimentary OEMs / SIs in Telecom and IT Space


- Capability of influencing large teams and relevant stake holders


- Practical experience running complex Proof of Concept projects (multi-solution integration) in similar domains


- Should have been involved in closure and implementation of Large and Complex Projects with Telecom Service Providers and Large Enterprise customers


Ability to influence internal stakeholders and manage cross functional support teams from an individual contributor position
