Description - Lead, grow and manage the client's business in the SAARC region

- Develop and execute the strategic business initiatives for sustainable and long term growth

Description:

Strategic Focus:

- Manage business development and sales (P&L) in India and SAARC region for different BUs and also to jointly develop region specific business strategies in consultation with respective BUs management.

- Ensure compliance, improve processes and implement audit-findings.


- Drive Government Affairs agenda in the region and Advocacy


- Strategize and Develop projects in consultation with BU's for localisation to tap into emerging India and SAARC market


- Develop additional revenue streams via complementary products a.k.a third parties


- Leading, capability building and motivating teams to develop a high performing team


- Brand and Image building/profiling in India and SAARC region


Main responsibilities:

- Develop budgets and drive the local P&L in alignment with BU's Marketing & Sales plan

- Sales and marketing responsibility for BUs of using the local team/resources in India for effective sales of BU's product offerings/services.

- Map and Develop markets in India and SAARC region to enhance reach

- Establish Sales & Marketing Action Plans and execute and/or monitor the progress, manage the commercial managers/teams.

- Maintain and nourish relationships with Key Customers in the India and SAARC region. Personally close the major contracts.

- Lead the sales teams in order to develop the business for the BUs in India and SAARC region.

- Align with the BUs on the business strategy, objectives, budgets and resource requirements and keep effective functioning

- Actively investigate localisation opportunities and develop and implement projects in alignment with BU to tap into future potential of India region

- Provide leadership and capability building to the teams and aid people development

- Assure high team spirit, employee retention and quality through selection, training and motivation of colleagues

- Tracking and Lead analysis of legislative/policy (upcoming) actions, schemes and determines the potential impact on Business lines and develops appropriate responses in alignment with Govt Affairs and BU teams

- Assists in the establishment of corporate strategies, policies and plans, which align with government laws, regulations and standards

- Oversee local accounting and controlling

- Implement all the required tax and regulatory compliances and audit-results

Profile:

Functional:

- Commercial background, ideally with Business Management experience.

- Proven track record in sales / commercial functions.


- Experience in managing teams from a different background.


- Fluent in English both oral and written. Other languages welcome.


- Min. 5 years management experience, partly in a multi-cultural international organization.
