General Manager - Sales & Operations - FMCG/FMCD (13-20 yrs)
Job Responsibilities:
New Market development
- Strategize, visualize and create new business opportunity plan for new & existing business segments.
- Conduct area specific market research and market intelligence to develop new business opportunities, increase customer base, identify new markets.
Sales & marketing operations
- Achieving top & bottom line targets.
- Increase productivity at all levels (Turnover, Revenue Vs Cost, Timely collection of payments etc). Continuously analyses team productivity and sales pipeline to surpass targets
- Ensure quality and timely delivery of products and solutions.
Customer Relationship Management
- Actively solve any issue the customer is facing.
- Maintain relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance; recommending profit and service improvements
- Ensuring continuous increase in share of business allocated by existing clients
- Business Operations coordination & MIS reporting
- Ensure close coordination between Sales & Marketing, Plant operations, Finance
- Periodic MIS reporting and management
- Retention and development of team
- Develop, coach and mentor your team, motivate them for better results
- Develop a solution-centric approach among all the team members.
- Provide organization directional inputs and work closely with the CEO & MD
Desired candidates experience:
- Candidates with 13 - 20 years of strong experience with FMCG, consumer durables, consumer commodities and has worked in entrepreneurial/ family driven firms and scaled them up. Has Handled multifunctional responsibilities.
- Strong Sales & Marketing experience with a proven track record of scaling up businesses and solid exposure to progressive Sales practices
- High degree of customer orientation. Should have implemented a culture of process orientation and customer excellence
- Go-Getter attitude with strong understanding and ownership of P&L and overall business plan.
- Excellent presentation & communication skills with experience to communicate and deliver presentation at high profile meetings.
- Smart and energetic, Aggressive & enthusiastic
Education:
Candidates with 13 - 20 years of strong experience with FMCG, consumer durables, consumer commodities and has worked in entrepreneurial/ family driven firms. MBAs preferred
