Are you a Sales and Marketing professional with International Sales experience in West Africa market and are interested in leveraging knowledge in Strategy Development with regard to exploring and growing the company's business in select African markets / West African markets. Do you have strong experience of the market and relationship in the FMCG Channel?

Based in Delhi, is among the oldest and one of the largest manufacturers of Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) in India. Brands are sold in more than 60 countries, including USA, Canada, South America, Africa, Europe, South East Asia and the Middle East.

They are looking for an GM International Business - West Africa Market.

As an GM International Business

What you- ll be tasked with:

- Responsible for Sales and Business Develop in West Africa {Nigeria and other countries)

- Top-line and bottom-line responsibility of markets one would be responsible for.

- Strategy Development with regard to exploring and growing the company's business in select African markets / West African markets.

- Sales and business development.

- Prospecting and need assessment.

- Competition tracking.

- New product development keeping in view the specific needs of the markets.

- Brand building and sales promotions.

- Forecasting and complete budgeting.

- Implementation and spearheading business in identified markets

- Market study and development

- Channel development

- Market analytics and reporting

- Regulatory compliance

- Logistics and supply chain

What you need:


- MBA/PGDM from an institute of repute

- 8-12 years of post-qualification experience, of which major (at least 6 years) part should be in handling international/ exports to West African markets.

- Industry experience/ MARKETS worked: Consumer Goods (FMCG), and knowledge of West African markets are a must.

- Open to frequent travel

- Resourceful, well versed with nuances of developing business in international territories. 


- Particularly knowledgeable about West African markets.

- Knowledge of applicable laws/regulation/compliances applicable to relevant markets with respect to the company's business there.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
