General Manager - Sales - Manufactuering (15-20 yrs)

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop the geographical growth in India and in expanding the product offering, whilst developing and empowering employees.

- Managing all Legal entity operations within India. This involves taking full responsibility for profit, revenue, cash and quality targets.

- Develops a successful commercial development strategy for India through creating synergies across Access Solutions (product categories).

- Lead the Sales, Product and Technical Managers in identifying growth strategies and implement them over time.

- Identify and propose to the APAC Regional Director possible synergies among the 3 legal entities in India, with a view to streamline and create a "one culture" among the employees.

- Identify and propose synergies across the regional countries.

- Plan and implement processes to improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

- Manage all staff across sales, marketing, operations, technical, supply chain, finance and human resources.

- Challenge local market habits and verify if alternative business models may be tested (ie. System integrator approach, direct sales to selected customer groups, etc) .

- Identify and execute relevant synergies in India across Access Solutions: in Sales, After Sales, Logistics, Procurement and Administration

- Coordinates efforts by establishing procurement, marketing and technical services policies and practices in close cooperation with Regional and Corporate staff in APAC and Europe.

Financial Management :

- Work in partnership with the Finance department by providing strategic input for the delivery of Annual Budgets including producing detailed annual business operating plans as well as monthly, quarterly or annual targets for revenue, profits and cash.

Customer Relationships, Key Account Management & Market Presence :

- Develops both new business and current accounts through business development research to create growth in sales.

- Customer management across all channels: driving sales growth through an effective go-to-market strategy.

Operational Management :


- Localised Manufacturing, Purchasing, Local R&D, Technical Support

- Coordinates efforts by establishing manufacturing, procurement and technical services policies and practices in close cooperation with Regional and Corporate staff in Europe and Asia.

- Study, propose, plan and execute strategic local manufacturing plans in consultation with the APAC Regional Director.
