General Manager - Research & Development - FMCG

Hiring for a GM - R & D position with a leading FMCG conglomerate. Candidates having 15-25 years relevant experience in New Product Development / R & D in the Dairy/Food/Beverage industry only need apply.

Position reports to the Head R & D.

Candidate should have:

1. Strong product development experience of traditional and non traditional dairy products / Beverages products.

2. Deep insights of Food Flavor & Ingredients and their interactions

3. Innovative mindset and hardcore product development experience in Dairy/Beverage industry.

4. Good established network in the industry

5. Possess capabilities to create business opportunities through innovative product concepts.

Job Role:

1. Drive portfolio development activities.

2. Develop technology competencies necessary to maintain a healthy pipeline of product.

3. Work with technological team on smooth execution of new products at plant.

4. Cost innovation program: closely liaise with business function of marketing and plant to deliver business activities.

5. Build primary quality protocols.
