Job Title: General Manager (Research & Development)

Reporting to: President Operations

Location: Dharuhera, Rewari (Haryana)

Qualification: PhD (Synthetic Organic Chemistry)- with Sulphur based products & Organic Polymers knowledge

Institutes: IITs/Indian Institute of Science/ UDCT/ National Chemical Laboratory/ Central Universities- Preferred

Experience: 10 - 15 years (Senior Position in Industrial R & D / Chemical Industry)

Key Skills and Responsibilities:

- Expertise in leading & developing R & D team for commercial organisation

- Ability to develop and translate organisation technical opportunities / challenges in to commercial gains.

- Identify Goals and plan R & D work to deliver Business current and medium term goals to meet/ exceed Organisation profit targets.

- Interact with customers so as to understand current problems / challenges along with identification of future opportunities for the business improvements/ diversification.

- Effective / result oriented team leader to motivate and lead team members to meet Business technical challenges.

- Position will involve understanding / applying and extending the knowledge in coating applications of liquids over solids.

- Knowledge & experience in designing new laboratory experiments along with abilities to take successful findings to Pilot Plant / Commercial scale operations along with multidisciplinary team.

- Knowledge and experience in the interpretation of advanced analytical techniques.

- Expertise and knowledge in various quality standards and to establish and monitor these within the organisation various disciplines.

- Co-ordination of R & D project activities to ensure that new projects are delivered on time.

- Project planning and communication of project status.

- Monitoring, creation and management of intellectual property
