General Manager - Quality Assurance - Automotive (18-30 yrs)
This is a Plant Quality Head role with a Multinational company in Auto sector. They are in commercial vehicles.
This is a Plant based role near Indore.
Qualification : post graduate in Engineering (Mechanical)
Work experience : minimum 20 years, out of which at least 12-14 years in Quality in a reputed large scale automobile company
Experience :
- Strong leadership quality, communication skills
- Experience of handling workforce of white collar employees of a size 40-50 minimum
- Job experience in parts quality, production shop quality & field quality function
- Familiar with latest quality assurance & audit systems
- Experience of establishing quality assurance system at supplier's end
- Knowledge of vendor assessment, development & vendor rating system
- Knowledge of all commodities of automobile manufacturing
- Possess adequate knowledge of metallurgy
- Awareness of field failure analysis, quarantine processes and corrective actions
- Knowledge of Quality Cost evaluation
- Worked as Management Representative for ISO 9000/ TS 16949 or similar system
- A strong trainer in the field of Quality Management Systems
- A good motivator, result oriented approach with positive attitude
- A change manager
