General Manager - Public Relations - Oil & Gas Industry (14-25 yrs)

Position: Head / GM Level

Dept: Marketing communication

Job Location: Chennai

Job Description:

- Collaborate with internal GA Marketing teams (12 GAs) and collate their PR Requirement

- Assist the PR lead in developing a PR Strategy calendar for Both Corporate and GA Level and also in Developing PR campaigns and media relations strategies.

- Edit and update promotional material and publications (brochures, videos, social media posts etc.)

- Work along with PR Lead Organize PR events across all 12 GA's

- Seek opportunities for partnerships, sponsorships and advertising

- Prepare and Submit Reports and clear agency Bills.

- Address inquiries from the media and other parties

- Track media coverage and follow industry trends.

- Manage PR issues

Job Requirements

- Bachelor's / Master's degree in Marketing / Business (or equivalent)

- Min 10 years of working experience in Public Relation, preferably in a PR Agency / corporate.

- Excellent Proof Reading and Copy Editing Skills

- Expert in MS Office

- Strong analytical, problem solving, and written and spoken communication skills

- Consultative and collaborative working style, outcome focused and data driven.

- Experienced in leading, coordinating, and managing complex projects in an structured way

- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-moving environment, managing competing deadlines.

- Be self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.

- Positivity, resilience, drive and resourceful.

- Exposure in handling PR in South India.
