General Manager - Portfolio Management - Pharma (8-15 yrs)
This is a functional leadership role, spanning across India and International markets. This role is designed to create robust new products pipeline for the markets where the company has strategic interest. This role involves end-to-end management starting from ideation, selection and execution, while working closely with the Executive Committee and cross functional leadership team.
1. New Products Ideation
a. Work closely with Medical, Commex, Commercial, BD, SCM, R&D teams to put together the New Products Ideation process.
b. Create a pipeline of new product ideas through stage wise ideation process
2. New Product Selection Process
a. New Products which are ideated, are assessed through a selection process involving multiple cross-functional teams. Manage the process end to end to ensure the new ideas are deliberated and selected with detailed assessment.
b. Manage the process with all the stake-holders to facilitate the assessment and decision making.
c. Manage the NPC (New Product Committee) PMO.
3. New Products Sourcing and Launch Planning
a. Work with R&D, BD and Sourcing teams to calendarize the new launches.
b. Ensuring the timelines of the new launches is adhered to.
c. Inform to New Product Committee (NPC) any interventions for ensuring timelines.
4. Delivering desired contribution from New Products
a. For the given financial year identify the financial metrics to quantify the new products contribution and ensure it is delivered.
5. Management of Portfolio
a. Build the analytics/MIS for reporting the ideation, selection and launch performance to report to the ExCom and the Board.
