GM(Plant), Dahej - Responsibility for production output, product quality and on-time delivery - Increasing production, assets capacity and flexibility while minimizing unnecessary costs, minimizing losses, minimizing utilities and maintaining current quality standards - Manage all Statutory and Regulatory requirements and follow up with Govt. bodies like DISH, GPCB, GIDC, PESO - Commit to plant safety procedures - Collect and analyze data to find places of waste or overtime, plan a corrective action - Make weekly, monthly and annual MIS report - Planning, organizing, directing and running optimum day-to-day operations to exceed our customers- expectations - Responsible for Plant debottlenecking/ expansion and New Project Activities - Responsible for Erection and Commissioning of New Project. - Stay up to date with latest production management best practices and concepts - Allocate resources effectively and fully utilize assets to produce optimal results - Implement strategies in alignment with strategic initiatives and provide a clear sense of direction and focus - Monitor operations and trigger corrective actions - Share a trusting relationship with workgroup and recruit, manage and develop plant staff - Develop systems and processes that track and optimize productivity and standards, metrics and performance targets to ensure effective return on assets - Proven work experience as a Plant Head (Production/Maintenance/Safety/Projects) - Proven managerial experience - Familiarity with industry standard equipment and technical expertise - Be knowledgeable of safety, quality, productivity, demand creation, inventory and stewardship processes - Computer literacy, AutoCad preferred - Ability to create accountability and to lead by example - Strong team building, decision-making and people management skills Other Skills : - To have a flare for creativity and attitude with a practical approach. - To have interest in cleanliness, housekeeping. - To have ability to get the work done
