General Manager - Plant HR/Industrial Relations - Manufacturing (19-26 yrs)
JOB TITLE
GM Plant HR and IR (Head HR) - Manufacturing
Reporting - Unit Head
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Performance & Development process
- Arrange Quarterly, Half yearly reviews & annual reviews between Reporting officer & employee
- MIS preparation of appraisal data as per Corporate HR guidelines
- Recruitment
- Adhere to recruitment & selection policy & documentation process.
- Complete critical recruitment in plant as per TAT.
- Effective onboarding of new joinees
- Industrial relation & grievance handling
- Effective & timely grievance handling
- Coordination with Unit Head & Deptt Head to have first hand information about complaints & grievances.
- Create and implement effective system for complaint handling. Complaint should be sorted at early stages only.
- Time Office Management:
- To ensure correct attendance recording for both staff and workers.
- Ensure that the lines are run without any manpower issue.
- Statutory Compliance
- To ensure the PF and ESI records of the employees are updated.
- To provide the UAN number to all the employees and ensure that the persons are credited their due salary amount.
- To ensure all compliance as per the Govt. Act & guidelines like, factory license, labour compliances etc.
- Contractor Management
- To check bills & attendance of the contractor and payment of contractor bills on time and coordinating with Corp HR & Corp Accounts for payments
- To ensure PF/ESI are duly submitted by contractor and submitting challans to Corp HR for payment.
- Ensure rotation of contract workers before they complete 240 days
Knowledge (Technical / Functional)
- Statutory Laws like Labour laws (PF, ESI); Safety laws, Factories Act, Contractor Labour Act. ID Act.
- Knowledge of handling labour in the plant
- Expert in handling, employee grievance, local labour union & liason with govt authorities
