General Manager - Operations - Solar Industry

General Manager, Operations will be responsible for general operational management, leadership and P&L for multiple Solar PV projects across India. The candidate is also expected to augment business development efforts through personal and professional networking and support a culture of excellence, execution, safety, and opportunity within the operations group.

Job Description :

- Candidate will be responsible for formulation of departmental policy and processes, technical excellence, regulatory compliance, and quality environmental and safety programs.

- Holds overall accountability for managing design engineering, supply chain, quality, installation, commissioning & maintenance teams for On-Grid, Off-Grid, Solar Water pumping and Solar PV systems for Petrol Pumps (IOCL) projects

- Collaborates with different stakeholders- external and internal, eg: departments, contractors, logistics agencies to ensure timely completion of projects

- Responsible for internal audit of vendors, contractors, project operations on quarterly/annual basis

- Build, mentor, guide and supervise operations team to maximize productivity and ensuring delivery of quality projects

- Formulating and driving process improvements to streamline operations, leverage technology, manage resources and handle the high volume and quickening the place of work.

- Organizing and directing the work of multidisciplinary professional and administrative staff.
