General Manager - Merchandising & Planning - Domestic Apparel Industry

The role is to oversee the entire Process of Merchandising activities and Planning of schedules.

This portfolio is a leadership role to contribute effectively for a large scale manufacturing of Apparels with production centres across various locations by closely Planning the Productions schedules with the Operations Team as pr the Market demands and always ensure that the range of products and categories are available without any stoppage of regular flow across Pan India.

Since the range of products are to service large consumer base across India and some overseas market, an effective Planning of production schedules is essential.

Professionals who have worked in large manufacturing set up in the Domestic Apparel Industry with multiple range of products and categories and different SKU's would be desired. The person should have excellent experience in proper Planning and Scheduling of Production and Dispatch to various channels of distribution. Should be thorough in handling Transporters and Logistic Operators for timely dispatch and supplies to the market demands.
