General Manager - Marketing - Retail/Healthcare (8-15 yrs)
Position Title: General Manager
Function: Marketing
Reports to: CEO
Repostees: Assistant Manager - Marketing
Looking for the person who will be able to head the marketing department of an organizing operating in multiple cities and 100+ units.
Candidate should have experience of heading marketing department of an organization in similar capacity and the person should be from Retail industry.
Key Purpose:
This position is responsible for :
Brand and marketing strategy development and implementation responsibility for the business, demand generation, customer acquisition and retention in line with the business goals
Key Accountabilities:
- Planning & Executing Marketing Strategies
- Planning & preparing Marketing Budgets
- Customer acquisition & Retention
- Develop & build brand
- Train and develop marketing team
- Retention of marketing team
Key Functions and Responsibilities:
Operational:
- Build and develop a marketing team that is competent, commercially astute, dedicated and effective
- Prepare Systems and process for marketing team
- Prepare annual marketing plan & strategy
- Organize and direct marketing & strategy meetings on regular basis
- Plan Programs and events that built relationships between company and patients
- Create marketing programs that build company's client base and encourage client retention
Developmental:
- Identify training needs and co-ordinate with Corporate HR to plan the training
- Guide and mentor marketing team
- Set goals, review and provide feedback to enhance performance levels of team members.
Internal and External Interactions:
Internal: Ops Team, Corporate team
External: Marketing agencies, PR agencies & vendors
Preferred Profile:
Basic:
- MBA in marketing
- Good communication skills (both written & verbal)
Experience: 10-20 years of relevant work experience (preferably from retail industry)
