General Manager - Marketing - International Transmission Services - Submarine Cable (10-30 yrs)
Major Activities (Responsibilities) --
Lead & Drive end to end product development, enhancement & life cycle management of International Transmission Services Product Portfolio for India & SAARC region.
Drive business strategies around licensing and regulatory framework in India in coordination with Legal, Regulatory and Engineering teams. Study and analyze evolution of ILD licensing frameworks in India and business opportunities and risks emerging due to that.
Create new value proposition, market strategy, pricing and positioning of the product with the sales & marketing teams. Engage and partner with technology providers to introduce new features in existing products or new products. Review & drive enhancements in product documentation, collaterals etc on global basis.
Manage escalations from Sales & commercial teams around pricing issues, fault management & provisioning for services. Guide teams around new ways of selling/ approach for new opportunities. Participate in meetings along with Sales for specific customers.
Track product revenues on a periodic basis & assess performance of product portfolio against AOP. Propose, create & review action plans to achieve the targets with Sales.
Conduct capex and opex forecasting for the product in the region. Participate in AOP process to define strategy & roadmap of the product portfolio to meet the revenue & costs (Network/IT) forecast. Participate in cross-functional reviews to track performance.
Review and validate network plans proposed by planning & engineering team. Provide inputs for business cases for development/augmentation for network. Guide, Review and approve new projects identified based on capital investment and product requirement.
Create & drive Network strategy for new routes introduction and capacity augmentation in the region to meet growing customer needs. Lead new technology introduction in the network for increasing operational & fiscal efficiencies with the objective of ensuring increase in product and service profitability, revenue and market competitiveness.
Lead the team to drive P&L management for product portfolio through product development and management, sales support and collaboration with other regional IPL product team, Sales, commercials, solutions engineering, customers, Engineering & Operations teams.
