General Manager - Manufacturing - Garments

This position call for a high caliber and aggressive approach to delegate and get the desired manufacturing targets on time delivery. Should be capable of handling large workforce and maintain harmony to ensure production is continuous and quality driven.

Hence the following are the major criteria for the role & responsibilities;

KEY ROLE :

- Manage work force of 1500+ including senior managers, at multiple locations

- Driving them to high quality, low defect(seconds) rate

- Achieve high efficiency with high profit for the factory

- Optimally utilise resources - manpower/materials/machinery/space, etc

- Ensure process oriented with best systems in place

- Develop and manage multiple styles as per market expectations

SKILL SET :

Technical Skills :

- Excellent knowledge of IE based garment manufacturing process

- Excellent knowledge of various tools of Lean management.

- Good knowledge on various aspects of garmenting - from fabric to finishing

- Good knowledge on various styles of garments

- Excellent knowledge on quality aspects and achieving high quality

Personal Skills :

- Manage/lead a large team of people with positive approach and discipline

- Coordination skills with various internal departments

- Honesty/Integrity

- Problem solving, decision making

Other Skills :

- Proficiency in Excel, data analysis

- Working knowledge on SAP-ERP helpful

- Languages - Tamil, English, Hindi

KPI (KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS) :

- CPM to achieve Rs 3.50 by

- Factory Efficiency to maintain at 90% for 50% for 15D+ run, 70% for 30D+ run, 100 days+ run

- MMR at 3.0

- Quality to be maintained between A to A+ rating

- Additional one unit to SET UP within 6 months (after achievement of above)

The Above Position Is To Be Filled In Immediately. Those Having Worked In Large Apparel Companies With More Than 1000 Machines Is Only Desired. Preference For Those Worked In Knitted Garments Of Atleast 10 Years Is A Must. 

Should Be Ready To Move And Relocate To Salem In Tamil Nadu.
