General Manager/Manager - Finance & Accounts - Plant - CA (12-15 yrs)

- To develop and maintain accounting principles and practices while adhering to accounting standards and corporate laws. 


- Submission of relevant MIS for internal reporting, INDAS/IFRS financial statements and Direct tax. 


 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :


- 1. Statutory Audit & Limited Review : a. Monthly Closing of Accounts as per the laid down standards 


 b. To liaison with the Statutory & Internal Auditors and be a focal point in resolving their queries and issues 


 c. Preparation of the Annual Report and notes to accounts 


 2. MIS : a. To ensure timely and accurate MIS b. To analyse reasons for deviations from Budget vs Actual and Actual vs previous month c. To ensure schedules for G&A and Plant conversion cost are accurate 


 d. To ensure timely sharing of departmental cost to various department and vertical heads 


 3. Direct Taxation : a. Ensure accurate quarterly direct tax provision 


 b. Advance tax payment workings 


 c. Direct tax data for tax assessment 


 4. Internal Control : a. Ensuring controls around financial reporting 


 b. Closure control weakness identified by internal audit team/ external auditors 


 5. Cost Monitoring : a. To ensure complete Annual Budgeting of the Company


 b. To establish Business Finance Management accounting to ensure monitor all Operational Expenses 


 c. To ensure correct accounting of expenses 


 6. Liaison : 


 a. To liaison with plants and all inter department for accounting matters and resolve queries if any 


 b. Act as one point contact for monitoring all plant related reporting 


 7. SAP process owner : a. To drive Process re-engineering in SAP to drive improvement in accounting and control aspects 


 b. Co-ordinate with IT to close the reporting and other requirements from SAP


 c. To conduct independent checks and studies on SAP, identify gaps from time to time and take up, and monitor improvement projects 


 8. Monthly Reviews : 


 a. Build & Drive the monthly reviews in Accounts and Plants along with GM Accounts  


b. Single point coordinator for closing of inter-departmental issues identified in the reviews Skills : Eye for details, Analytical, IFRS/INDAS, team management, ability to work under pressure
