General Manager - Logistics & Supply Chain - Ceramic/Paint/Tyre/Consumer Durable/Chemical Oil - IIM/NITIE/FMS (12-25 yrs)
GM Logistics & Supply Chain -Ceramic,Paint,Tyre,Consumer Durable,Chemical Oil
- Ensuring supply chain metrics like forecast accuracy, controlling tentative to firm est. deviation, Vendor managed inventory etc
- Strategizing, designing, developing & executing the end-to-end SCM plans that are aligned to the company business goals
- Handling the planning for products which includes release of filling & dispatch plans to factory, liasoning for supplies from various factories, new products planning, PM planning, production scheduling, transport, logistics etc.
- Manages Warehousing & Distribution function to ensure availability of products to fulfill customer orders in a timely manner from both the central and branch, warehouses in accordance with Good Distribution Practices
- Logistics Managing logistic operations viz., transportation upto factory warehousing. Coordinating with other external agencies for ensuring timely clearances and cost effective transport solutions.
- Negotiating with transporters, shippers, etc. to ensure seamless and cost-effective movement of consignment.
- Ensure the Sales and Operation Planning processes and systems are managed well and continuously improved over time
- Manage the transportation and physical logistics of all incoming shipments to assure goods arrive on time in Team Precision.
- Manage supply chain strategy development and review.
- Define the standard operating procedures for logistics and guide the annual planning process for the divisions in alignment with supply/demand scenarios for all product lines.
- Liasoning with regions for ensuring correct plans, pack mix, validation of primary plans & release to Material Planner.
