General Manager - Legal - Real Estate

- Complete responsibility of drafting agreements for Lease, Leave & License, Statutory/ Regulatory Compliance for mall & retail business

- Support Leasing team on legal & regulatory matters, drive compliance within legal framework; draft all contracts & agreements and ensure safe custody of legal documents

- Support Leasing team during negotiations with various brands, tenants, retailers and in dispute resolution

- Ensure registration of final agreement document with all supporting documents; Ensure safe custody of all original copies of contracts & agreements signed by the respective authority

- Support litigation & prepare legal notices in case of any material breach of non-negotiable terms & conditions; provide assistance in such cases

- Understanding of Rent Act, Registration Act, Stamp Act and regulations related to leasing; familiar with leasing administration procedures

- Strong leader, technically strong, collaborative
