General Manager - Legal - Real Estate

- Manage complete legal for Residential Business including RERA, TDR, customers, society formation & handover

- Identify, anticipate & mitigate legal risk; provide legal support for all customer related issues, FAQ, customer association formation etc

- Concept stage to operations, all documentation, drafting sales deeds, compliance with applicable laws, legislations & statutory requirements

- Provide expert advice on legal & regulatory matters related to residential projects

- Evaluate impact of evolving legal & statutory regulations on current & future investments

- Design process to mitigate legal risks, provide legal advice for policy formulation, install systemic frame work

- All documentation wrt external stakeholders, regulatory authorities; resolve escalated matters

- Ensure that the project is as per statutory norms, contract terms; no penalty clauses invoked

- Resolve disputes / litigations e.g. customer litigation, RERA related issues etc

- Represent the company before various regulatory authorities or courts of law

- Set up arbitration mechanism for alternate dispute resolution; appoint arbitrator for the case

- Effective litigation management, manage external litigation partners, file & monitor cases

- Manage out of court settlements along with business leadership

- Recruit, retain, review performance of team, groom high-potential employees From developer with residential experience
