- Responsible for controlling, managing and directing the activities of the Legal Services function.

- Responsible for providing professional and strategic support, guidance and advice to the management, tailored to the specific legal issues.

- Suggest and advice on various legal matters like commercial contracts, dispute resolution, government funding agreements, regulatory, employment, and governance.

- Responsible for directing the legal team in drafting, reviewing and negotiating all Commercial & Corporate contracts pertaining to all business aspects like manufacturing, supply chain system, logistics, green field projects, etc. with the Government sector as well as the other concerned parties.

- Responsible for providing suitable guidance to the legal team towards the preparation of draft legislation, as and when required.

- Must work together with other members of the organization on projects such as policies and procedures, taxes, etc.

- Provide coverage for the Americas, Australia, Middle East, and APAC for all revenue deals.

- Liaise with relevant departments to ensure that where legal risks have been identified, appropriate courses of action have been taken.

- Provide legal protection and risk management advice to management especially on contract management.

- Review and advise management on legal implications of internal policies and procedures.

- Review and draft contracts, agreements and internal policies and ensure that they are in compliance with all statutory or legal requirements.

- Responsible for initiating, following up and timely renewal of all documents/ papers related to Company's Intellectual Property and registration of various brands through the establishment of suitable legal processes in connection with external legal firms & trademark agents.

- Responsible for frequent communication and meetings with outside counsels (both domestic and foreign) to prepare and prosecute patent applications.

- Responsible for writing patent specifications, safekeeping of drawings for patent applications, organizing and analyzing submissions of new ideas, and providing technical support for patent prosecution by outside counsel.

- Responsible for providing with technical support for patent prosecution including engineering analysis of office actions, providing reference analysis and infringement analysis.

- Responsible for writing claims for offensive or defensive patent strategy.

- Responsible for managing patent prosecution in foreign jurisdictions.

- Assist the management in meeting with all legal approvals & documentation requirements related to administration of internal corporate affairs.

- Ensure that all activities within Legal Services support the overall business plan and are underpinned by the organization's vision and values.

- Formulate SOPs to review all vendor contracts for the company (e.g., supporting IT, Marketing, Facilities, etc.)

- Provide and interpret legal information, conduct training and disseminate appropriate legal requirements to staff.
