Direct Reporting To Head - Finance, Accounts & Administration, IC

Job Purpose: To enable business deliver superior financial performance consistently, maintaining sound financial systems including budgetary control, working capital management, cash flow management, risk management, MIS reporting, supporting the operations by allocating optimum resources, ensuring regulatory/taxation/accounting standards compliances

Key Responsibilities :

- Facilitate preparation of annual budgets, review and adhere to the budgets for each business/department/project

- Ensure financial accounting and cash flow management - guide and facilitate financial accounting for development and maintenance of systems, build internal control and checks, resolve accounting related issues, compliance with accounting policies and standards, liasoning with internal and external auditors, coordinate with corporate accounts & taxation teams, monitor cash-flows, conduct periodic reviews for a timely closure of quality & error free quarterly and annual accounts, timely release of Performance reports

- Analyse the schedules relating to Profit & Loss Account and Balance sheet for suitable decision making and correct reporting

- Monthly reporting of performance parameters to the management to review the financial soundness, periodic analysis of financial ratios and appropriate interventions for improvements wherever required

- Review of project cost and project profitability to ensure the projects are in line with tender estimates

- Working Capital Management - monitor collections and outstanding, obtain optimum level of vendor credits, review Sales Over Invoicing, release funds blocked in current assets, prepare monthly cash budgets to align with working capital

- Risk Management - Prebid and execution risks, new country clearances, manage financial exposures and risks, forex and commodity risk management, hedge the exposures in forex and commodity

- Ensure effective site administration through site admin team wrt strict compliance with labour regulations, statutory compliances for the projects, providing adequate facilities to workmen and employees at project site in order to have healthy working environment

- Dealing with Customs / GST / Tax Authorities for proper tax assessments, dealing with clients to ensure contractual obligations, negotiation with clients / vendors for commercial terms, negotiations with bankers for financing

- People Development - To develop a strong Finance, Accounts & Administration team to support and grow business

Educational Qualifications: Chartered Accountancy from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India with first- class academic records

Experience:

- Proven experience of at least 25 years in Finance and Accounts function with a minimum of 5 years of experience in Senior role at corporate level, managing multi-location .Accounting and Finance complexities in Construction / Infrastructure / EPC business, with adequate exposure to international business

- Financial Management, Treasury, Risk management, Budgeting & Forecasting, Financial modelling, Financial Planning & Analysis, Performance monitoring and reporting, Internal Controls, Financial Reporting Systems, Taxation and Commercial aspects of business, Forex Management, Regulatory Compliances

- Leadership competency in global strategic mindset, synergistic customer engagement, commercial acumen, social intelligence and collaboration, inspiring results
