Role & Responsibility: - Provide infrastructure services vision, enable innovation and leverage IT trends that can create business value consistent with the organization's requirements and expectations. - Develop strategic direction and leadership for the IT infrastructure and lead technology initiatives for technology infrastructure setup and associated project portfolio, including but not limited to 24x7 data center infrastructure management and evolution, mobility and remote access services, ubiquitous wireless networks, enterprise-scale messaging environments, active directory multi-forest integration, dual-carrier global WAN, software-defined internetworking, and secure computer environment - Develop strategic direction and leadership for the IT infrastructure team, set KRAs, priorities, coordinating projects and activities according to business priorities and alignment. Plan future skill requirements, Skill development strategies and resources based on project and operational demands - Manage end to end IT infrastructure and telecommunications network, IT operations/service delivery, IT budget and procurement, vendor management and technical team management with 24x7 uptime and availability of production mission critical, customer facing services deployed in a hybrid architecture. Manage the capacity planning, budgeting. - Ensure comprehensive failover, disaster recovery architecture is maintained and operations are in place to ensure compliance with required RPOs and RTOs during business continuity events (emphasizing but not limited to storage area networks and redundant, highly-available server and secure network architectures). - Achieve high levels of service availability and performance through the implementation of infrastructure architecture, tools, automation, and processes. - Develop RFP/RFI, conduct product evaluations, manage product and service selections, and ensure that pricing, terms, and conditions for supplier contracts meet the organization need and expectations - Evaluate, Develop & Manage Outsourced support programs including IT Infrastructure, Application Support. Maintain strategic vendor relationships and outsourcing contracts, create, track, and report operational metrics, KPIs, and project status for all aspects the relationship with the vendors. Establish metrics, key performance indicators, and service level agreements for delivery of 24/7 service operations to continually improve the performance of IT operations - Develop, implement and maintain comprehensive systems to monitor and enforce the company's security policies, procedures, and guidelines. Conduct internal audits and work with auditors and independent consultants to conduct audits and assessments of service delivery and security requirements of the company. - Conceptualize, structure and manage complex projects with a demonstrated ability to prioritize and keep multiple projects on time and within budget. Provide infrastructure support to key application initiatives. - Stay up to date with current technology market trends and develop infrastructure strategy, architecture, and delivery processes designed for agility and cost-effectiveness in discussion with and present ideas to senior IT leadership. - Ensure that the IT infrastructure Operations function delivers the required productivity, cost, service and uptime result, and interface with customers/internal departments. Requirements: - Over 10-12 years of Information Security experience, 3-5 years of experience in the similar leadership capacity - Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience of large-scale Datacenter Operations, Virtualized Private Cloud, Network operations, production operations support and Disaster Recovery - Experience in large-scale networking implementation and security management - Exposure to information security practices and implementation experience - Experience in related IT disciplines such as enterprise software applications, various databases would be desirable - Understanding of various frameworks & standards ITIL, ISO 2001 and project management principles; their application to Infrastructure projects and teams - Very good Persuasive and professional communication skills - Strong leadership and management abilities and ability to lead cross-functional project teams in implementing projects of a complex nature. - Must have strong organizational skills and multi-tasking capabilities - Flexibility to adapt to rapidly changing conditions and priorities, and to redirect managers and teams toward new objectives - Demonstrated ability to apply technology solutions to business problems Education: - Bachelor's degree in computer science or hardware engineering or related field, or equivalent work experience(BSc, BTech, BE). Additional technical qualification and certification would be desirable
