About the Company:

The Company is one of India's leading exporter of frozen food solutions to leading customers in the UK, USA, Australia etc. Exports constitute 85% of the business currently. The Company has a State-of-the-Art plant in Western India built over 60000 sft with over 50 acres- open land and is regarded as one of India's best frozen food manufacturing facilities. Among other certifications the plant is BRC AA+ certified, SEDEX, USFDA, EIA & FSSAI. The team over the last 7 years has demonstrated strong Innovation capabilities and delivered a strong top and bottom line. As part of the aggressive growth plans the Company plans to build a stronger presence in the UK Market and also further enhance its presence in the markets like USA, Europe, Middle East and rest of the world. Markets targeted are both the Mainstream customers like leading retailers, food service, private label brands and also the ethnic channels.

Role & Responsibilities :

- Primary responsibility for maintaining and growing the existing basket of customers by gaining share of purchase and through development of new concepts for the fast evolving consumers.

- Study the market, construct and identify the target list of customers, shortlist and build a viable product pipeline for introduction in a time bound manner.

- Keep track of the changing environment and provide inputs to the Product development team for further innovations.

- He/she will be in need of close communication across functions not limited to the innovation team and operation teams to successfully achieve the objectives.

- Ensure achievement of sales targets across the targeted geographies.

- Drive to deliver outstanding customer service levels. Familiarity of export procedures, costs, documentation particularly with reference to the food industry protocols.

- Work closely with the plant QA to ensure compliance of all regulatory issues.

- Ensuring the targeted product margins are delivered.

- Deliver results to the assignment as needed.

- A very high level of Problem solving skills and a solutions mind-set - superior planning skills.

- Self-starter and ability to think on his/ her feet and work alone.

Skills Required:

- Astute Analytical skills, Communication skills, Product knowledge, Presentation Skills, Industry Knowledge, Exports procedures & costs

Position in the Organization:

- Reporting to the CEO / MD

- External stakeholders being the Customers and their Teams in the front end.

- Candidates from following industries will be preferred:

Any large Corporate - preferably Food & Beverage (F&B) Industry with sizeable Exports business

- Key account Management skills

Experience :

- 7-10 years of relevant Industry experience, preferably with demonstrated work experience in building new markets, geographies, categories in food exports.

Qualifications :

- MBA / Masters Degree in Exports Trade / Business Management

- 7-10 years of experience post Graduation

- Strong knowledge of Back-of-House (BOH) operations

- Passion for the Food & Beverage (F&B) industry is a must

- Good Analytical skills, Communication skills & Presentation skills

Salary: As per Industry (Depending on Profile)
