General Manager - Internal Communications - Healthcare/FMCG - South Asia (15-20 yrs)
GM, Internal Communications - South Asia
- The Communications Business Partner leads the integrated channel strategy, governance, and channel enablement for the company in South Asia.
- He/She is responsible for owning the Digital Communication and drives the web, social, and employee channel ecosystem as well as content strategy (including paid media for social & digital) that enables the achievement of the overall communication objectives and the functional strategy.
- He/she is accountable for community and stakeholder management in channels.
- He/she manages the development and execution of a holistic communication strategy for topics concerning the Leadership comms, Enabling Functions, targeting all relevant stakeholders and channels.
- He/she reports directly to the Head of Communications & PAS in the country/country group
YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Strategizes & owns the internal and external digital communication and channel strategy in South Asia, aligned with global governance model.
- Implements global strategy for coherency and optimizing channels, managing user experience, driving audience engagement, and supporting community management to drive awareness.
- Owns content strategy and publishing of relevant topics on digital mediums with the aim to increase awareness and drive engagement.
- Researches and understands the needs of audiences, internal audience and accordingly designs and executes forums like townhalls/open forums at a one level in collaboration with HR teams.
- Drives year-round integrated campaign and program management on internal and social channels, managing projects, timelines, relevant agencies, and internal project communication
- Manage the development, creation of relevant storytelling and globally usable assets for digital channels, translating and positioning brand, vision, and purpose into internal and external
- Leadership/transformation comms designed in collaboration with functions for the South Asia leadership team.
- Ensures channel strategy and design local content calendar that is aligned to global topics.
- Continuously collaborates and anticipates the needs of communications business partners and the enabling functions and translates communication requirements into digital solutions.
- Leads all content for internal channels/townhalls/owned channels.
- Advises senior business leaders on business impact of digital engagement activities.
- Facilitates thought leadership to manage reputation across all owned channels.
Leverage data and insights from various sources to plan and strategize overall strategy
WHO YOU ARE:
- A university degree, preferably masters or equivalent in digital media/comms
- English language fluency in spoken and written is a must.
- Strong and innovative content skills including use of innovative platforms
- Strong presentation knowledge and new digital assets
- Minimum of 15 years of related professional experience in positions of responsibility in major corporations with an international scope
- Knowledge of communications tools and processes, basics in Content Management Systems, technology-savvy, new tools in AI and more.
- Strong editorial skills and ability to translate complex topics and information into easy to understand, target group-specific language
- Eye for aesthetics and visual designs
- Strong in relationship building with relevant external and internal stakeholder groups
- High level of agility and ability to stay calm under pressure
- Successfully embraces and drives change
