GM - Process Training - Job Description

Position Summary :

- The Business Training Manager heads training functions for a COE/ inter-related COEs within a vertical for all Geographies, manages training deliverables and helps in achieving the training goals. Individuals in this role are responsible for creating and maintaining the Domain related knowledge base (portals, blogs, learning material, certification materials etc) for the Domain and lead & motivate a team of CoE Trainers to manage and maintain the knowledge levels within the projects

Key Result Areas :

- Facilitate Domain Training and certification level measured through Trainer Feedback Score (from Trainees) and Number of associates certified post training

- Ensure relevance and effectiveness of training provided by vendors measured through Trainer Feedback Score for the vendors (from Trainees) as well as meeting the process SLA

- Plan, schedule and manage Onsite Knowledge Transitions and offshore knowledge transfer for new projects measured through compliance of KT checklist and audit of the DAG team in line with the CARES framework

- Ensure timely process and domain knowledge documentation /validation, review and customer sign-off

- Measure timely sign-off from customer, version control maintenance per audit parameters (ISO, DAG, external)

- Ensure zero surprise environment for client and operations from a knowledge management perspective during dashboard reviews and DAG audits (Zero observations/NCs)

- Drive CCA for the BU by developing domain solutions and scheduling sessions to be roll exit criteria compliant

- Manage, review progression and ensure annual completion of learning paths basis competencies upto the Associate Levels

- Drive and complete six sigma GB/ Lean process improvement projects from a knowledge management perspective

- Partner with the Delivery teams to drive interventions to improve SLA adherence

- Support the BU lead in implementing projects aimed towards people development and improving domain capability

Typical Responsibilities :

Business / Customer :

- Participate in Customer Calls or meetings per the business requirements.

- Maintain and communicate Knowledge health scorecard with the customer

- Manage and Review Knowledge Transition for the project/Domain

- Handle escalations form the client on Knowledge related issues

- Perform Business development tasks and participate in RFPs for potential new projects

- Manage vendor relationships with Certifying authorities for industry recognized certifications

- Interventions to address business challenges related to knowledge gaps that may have been identified

Project/Process :

- Ensure Process Knowledge Management - Validation and sign-off from Customer

- Drive Process and Domain knowledge training and certification across the Learner and the Practitioner level

- Manage the Training Health Scorecard for the projects within the Domain

- Maintain and Manage Process/Domain related knowledge material - portals, blogs, knowledge base etc

- Plan and manage new hire Knowledge transfer

- Plan, schedule and manage Onsite Knowledge Transitions and offshore knowledge transfer for new projects

- Identifying cross training opportunities and building levels of certification and assessments to certify Associates on various platforms/practices

- Be part of Innovation groups to impact Domain Knowledge penetration

- Drive and complete Six Sigma GB/ lean projects that impact the training function

People / Team :

- Drive CCA compliance

- Mentor and review roles and KRA of the Project Specialists and the CoE Trainers

- Performance development for team members through Coaching and Mentoring

- Conduct monthly appraisals and provide one on one feedback to reporting team members

- Build and manage Learning Paths for all levels of employees based on Domain and Competency requirements

- Conduct and maintain Skill-gap reports frequently to manage the learning curve for associates

Qualification :

Education : Post Graduate or MBA (preferable)

Experience : 15 years of overall experience and at least 9 years of relevant experience in the required in the Insurance industry
