The position is responsible for driving IT strategy and managing the information technology agenda for the India, Middle East and Sub-Saharan Africa businesses. The position collaborates with business leaders to build an IT roadmap in alignment with and support of business unit strategies and goals. The position works in close collaboration with Enterprise IT team to ensure that the global best practices and reusable components are leveraged to drive value to business. Through this partnership, the position will drive business value through technology introductions that improve business performance.

This position has wide latitude for unreviewed action and decisions relative to system design and project oversight. Good general business knowledge is required to operate effectively in this position.

IT Strategy Development

- Development of the business unit IT strategy.

- Work with Global/Enterprise IT to research & evaluate technologies that enable business strategies.

- Development of an IT roadmap of new technology projects.

- Prepare business strategy material and capable of presenting to upper management.

IT project oversite.

- Partner with the broader IT organization to define & deliver new capabilities.

- Development and control of budget, capital plans, strategic and resource planning.

- Customer Relationship Management

- Champion innovation by driving best practice solutions that drive business differentiation.

- Maintain a solid focus on the end customer, challenging the business units where appropriate while still fostering a solid partnership.

- Maintain a strong overall understanding of all functional processes in all areas of business.

- Promotes the sharing of information with team members and at all management levels.

Vendor Management

- Vendor evaluation

- Ensure that vendors fulfill their contractual obligations within time & Budget

- Vendor relationship Management

Skillset Required

- This position requires an in-depth knowledge of best practices and processes across business functions, for example, supply chain, finance, marketing, and operations.

- Should possess sound technical & systems knowledge, eg SAP, SFDC, Data & Analytics (Azure & Power BI), e-Commerce Platforms.

- Should have handled end to end delivery of multiple projects at the same time.

- Hands on experience in Business\Technical solution architecture.

- Should have lead multi location team members and have handled more than 10 team members.

- Should have experience in managing IT budget.
