Will drive the long-range business plan, and strategic planning process by overseeing and managing India business including operations, Quality, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Sales, Distribution etc. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES : - Profit and loss accountability - Implement global business strategy in India and develop sound business development plans - Develop Country growth plans and key initiatives to meet strategic objectives - Oversees and supports day to day Operations - Support Global Sales Leaders with local execution and provides high level customer contacts. - Manages the business in India to achieve all business plans, objectives, and profitability targets. - Analysis of annual, quarterly, monthly operational reviews and budgets. - Conducts market analysis to identify new business opportunities and represents/supports the company in key negotiations for new business, new major contracts and potential acquisitions and JV's - Develops and maintains good relationships with key government and academic agencies. EXPERIENCE : - As this is a country site head role, exp in general management incl. exp in most of areas such as Business Development, Product Development, Operations , Sales/Marketing and Purchasing/Sourcing - Good communication skills - MBA degree and experience working in a matrix organization preferred - Experience in Engineering Industry pref. Auto components or machined parts preferable
