General Manager - Human Resources - Brick & Mortar Business (12-16 yrs)

Responsibilities & Accountabilities :
- As part of the Group Corporate team, provide strategic direction & have a focused "Business Partner" approach.
- Partner with Promoters and other senior key stakeholders to Translate Business Strategy into Talent Strategy
- Identify people and organizational requirements to enable successful implementation of long-term business plans
- Run Talent Acquisition function independently for CXO and other critical level hiring.
- Design of HR Strategies, Processes, Policies & Frameworks and strengthen the employee experience
- Drive Leadership Development & Talent Management; Foster Employee Engagement & Retention
- Create and Implement a robust Talent Management Strategy in the company with adequate focus on building strong succession
- Drive initiatives to enhance employee engagement levels; Identify areas of retention gaps & areas of improvement
- Ensure alignment of organizational culture & company philosophy; Foster organization creation & culture-building
- Establish and manage appropriate relationships with internal & external stakeholders at all levels; Challenge the management, conventions & standard practices
Requirements :
- 12-16 years of experience working in Indian Promoter driven brick-and-mortar set up organizations
- Very good interpersonal skills. Pleasing personality and executive presence . Good network.
- Should be able to sense the people's aspirations and be sensitive to their needs
- Ability to work in not so structured environment
- Ability to navigate through vague and uncertain environment
- Maturity and gravitas to interact with promoters and senior leadership team
- Should have a knack of quickly understanding the business and roles and structure
