JOB DESCRIPTION

Key Result Areas / Roles & Responsibilities :

Primary :

Compliance :

- Owner of Enterprise HR Compliance for multiple entities.

- Own and drive the Enterprise HR Compliance, Vendor Management & Contractual Employees Management Strategy.

- Registrations and Amendments Tracking (PT, S&E, CLRA etc.)

- Coordination and reviewing Vendor Compliance and Audits

- Registrations and Amendments Tracking (PT, S&E, CLRA etc.)

- Proactive checking on remittances and returns of statutory dues.

- Regular tracking of S&E and CLRA registrations and amendments.

- Compliance vendor management and conducting inspection of reports.

- Monitor the compliance tracker and calendar coordinating with the consultants.

- Monthly Compliance documents and schedule reviews.

- Coordination for Labour Inspections and legal cases

- Aligning business on compliance issues and help them addressing gaps.

- Ensure smooth running of contractual employee process like onboarding, off boarding, etc

- Design and revisit processes to improve overall quality of deliverables

- Design and revisit processes to improve overall quality of deliverables of vendor management function and to ensure cost optimization.

- Regular assessment of vendor performance and report necessary realignment

HR Operations and Payroll :

- The person would be responsible for handling Salary Processing for 3,000 plus employees, Managing the HR helpdesk, Reimbursements processing, Benefits including insurance processing and HR Compliances & Employee Documentation 

- Manage the processing of monthly payrolls and salary disbursements, including benefits, payroll deductions, and taxes.

- Handling Reimbursements, Perquisites Valuations, Exemptions as per Income Tax Rules and Regulations,

- Processing investment declaration given by employees to facilitate tax planning on Monthly Basis. - Capable of Processing One-time payments like Bonus, Performance rewards, etc.

- Making sure that M.I.S. (Management Information System) is updated on monthly basis. - Handling various Employee Reimbursements like, petrol, credit card, telephone, entitlement wise & as per company policies.

- Handling Statutory Compliance for Salary TDS, Quarterly & Annual TDS...Taking lead in finding the key improvement areas of department & its automation, implementation.

- Partnered with Accounting and HR teams in aligning and implementing a more sophisticated payroll and benefits system, including journal entries, account reconciliations, reporting, integration/syncing with other systems, improving reliability of data, and other related functions.

- Critically reviewed and analyzed current payroll, benefits and tax procedures (TDS, etc.) and related salary issues in order to recommend and implement changes leading to best-practice operations; update, communicate and maintain Payroll Policies & Procedures.

- Overseeing payroll records by reviewing and approving changes in exemptions, insurance coverage, savings deductions, and job titles, and department/ division transfers.

- Review each payroll prior to submission, paying special attention to payroll changes made by staff, to ensure accuracy, timeliness and conformity with company guidelines

- Work with cross functional Centers of Excellence to facilitate, end to end HR needs for the business pertaining to Employee Engagement and Relations

- Essential: MBA(HR)

- Desired:

Experience :

- MBA with 15 to 20 years of experience in Core HR activities leading a team of people and exposure to Statutory and Compliance at PAN India level with a focus on IR and Operations issues and Employee safety and welfare.
