Job Description : Resource Acquisition : 1. Design the plant manpower structure along with Plant Head &amp; in coordination with HR Plant Develop/maintain manpower requirement plan with a proactive focus on skill gaps. 2. To identify talent gaps in the organization &amp; build talent pipelines to ensure continuity &amp; smooth operations &amp; ensuring closure of key positions. 3. Track and forecast manpower requirements . 4. Ensure qualitative, cost effective and timely recruitments as per requirements. 5. Prepare &amp; present the annual HR budget. Ensure return on resources. Industrial Relations : 1. To develop processes which ensure compliance at all legislative and local governing agencies. 2. To ensure all legal proceedings are completed for court cases related to employee grievances timely. 3. Respond to and resolve difficult and sensitive employee enquiries and complaints. 4. Resolve sensitive and controversial issues. 5. Liaison between workmen/employees and management. 6. Responsible for Health, Safety and welfare of employees. 7. To maintain smooth relations and discipline with workmen/employees. 8. To keep Industrial Discipline. Training &amp; Development : 1. Implementation of talent management strategies, policies and standards that provide a competitive level of developing talent and motivation for employees. 2. Ensure an effective training and development system is in place wherein training needs are effectively identified, training programs are planned and executed as per the schedule and effectiveness of training is measured from time to time. 3. Ensure that an effective career planning and development system is in place. 4. Conduct Soft Skill Trainings for employees to foster better team culture and effective delivery of individual responsibilities. 5. Achieve per person training hours as per quality policy. Performance Management : 1. Ensure detailed job descriptions for all employees are in place. Lay down comprehensive roles and responsibilities of each person in the organization. 2. Ensure an effective, objective and transparent Performance Management System is in place. 3. Ensure specific, measurable, meaningful, relevant and time bound KRAs are defined for all employees as per the guidelines laid down in the performance management system. 4. Ensure effective implementation of the System. Compensation &amp; Personnel Management : 1. Ensure effective administration of all personnel activities like leave and attendance, MIS etc. Implementing the rules for punctuality and attendance. 2. Maintain work place discipline and code of ethics. 3. Lay down comprehensive roles and responsibilities of each person in the organization. 4. Designing and implementation of an effective and competitive Compensation Management System. Periodically review the structure in accordance with the industry norms to improve on the existing structure and ensure all Legal compliances. Employee Relations : 1. Assess and meet employee expectations, ensuring high degree of employee satisfaction. 2. Develop a congenial, healthy and competitive culture and assessing the same through periodic Employee Satisfaction Surveys. 3. Responsible for ensuring high degree of employee motivation and retention. 4. Ensure effective communication mechanisms are in place facilitating effective communication across all functions globally. 5. Effectively resolve inter/intra functional issues/conflicts. 6. Ensuring prompt resolution of employee grievances to maintain cordial management-employee relations and achieve dedication by employees. 7. To have harmonious employees relations for smooth functioning of Plant &amp; HO. Labour Relations &amp; Statutory Compliance : 1. To implement best practices and policies. 2. To prevent production loss due to non-compliance of statutory requirements. 3. To monitor and ensure proper compliance of various statutory compliances obligations under various Labour Laws as applicable to the plant, offices at all levels involving liaison with External Agencies, Govt. Authorities, etc 4. To represent the management on statutory matters relating to applicable Labour Laws before the concerned authorities as and when required. 5. To liaise with the local authorities and administration officials including police department. Health, Industrial Safety &amp; Environment : 1. Overall responsibility and compliance of the plant EH&amp;S policy, making sure staff are aware of the importance and follow safety protocol. 2. Advise all members on all aspects of Health &amp; Safety. 3. Conduct/organise relevant health and safety training for staff as required, including first aid and fire safety. 4. Proper and timely reporting from all EH&amp;S team members. Legal : 1. Responsible for attending various court cases related to contractors, employee grievances, etc 2. Responsible for handling land dispute cases. Administration : 1. Responsible for smooth functioning of the administrative machineries across the group(All company locations including HO, Plant, Sites and various Offices. 2. Managing General Office Administration including Travel Desk, Transport, Canteen, Security, Housekeeping, Miscellaneous Services including accident Cases, Medical Check- up, etc 3. Interfacing with Government Departments etc. 4. Vendor Development and supplies. 5. Prepare comparative of administration related expensed except cost of production for Plants and ensure reduction in the same Information Technology : 1. Responsible for planning and monitoring the IT team in implementing new systems policies as per instruction of Management. 2. Ensuring timely and smooth function of IT team. 3. Ensure timely renewals of all IT related contracts. 4. Synchronization of HO &amp; Plant IT team.
