JOB TITLE: General Manager – EH&S and Quality

Experience : 15 yrs - 22 yrs

Location : Mumbai

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

Preferred - BE/ BTech

Professional course in EHS is must.

GRADE: GM

REPORTS TO: Managing Director

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

- Responsible for implementation of all Quality and Safety related initiatives included in annual
objectives of the Managing Director of Otis India.

- Co-ordinate activities of Safety Committee, arrange for its monthly meetings, distribute minutes of these meetings to the members and follow through the decisions of the Safety Committee for their effective implementation.

- Supervise and co-ordinate activities of Factory and Regional Quality Council and Regional Safety Committees by liaison with location’s general Manager and his/her Quality and Safety Coordinator/Managers.

- Establish and supervise CRC (Call-Back Reduction Center) and PIC (product Improvement Center) to ensure defect free products are handed over to Otis customers.

- Ensure Otis Employees and customers are provided with safe products and safe working environment to eliminate any chances of fatality. His/her objective shall be to have “Otis-World’s Word for safety”.

- Evolve open communications system in the organization to ensure transparency in Management of EHS and Quality issues, incidents, investigations and atmosphere of trust in Employee-Management transactions.

- Encourage support and implement Company’s EHS and Quality improvement initiatives.

- Participate and provide assistance to EHS and Quality initiatives undertaken by outside Corporate, Educational, Government organization’s with the objective of classifying Otis as an important corporate citizen in Indian society.

- Prepare and implement Quality Plans and EHS plans for Otis India in line with World Headquarters policies.

- EH&S Quality Requirements:

- Ensure compliance with the EHS and Quality procedures and policies.
